In July 2017 my partner and I equipped a camper van to live off-grid. We added solar panels, an electrical system, cabinets, a fridge, cut a roof fan, and squished as much as possible into the small space. We traveled near 14,000 miles in a spiral around the United States, visiting National Parks and sites collected from friends and Atlas Obscura. We spent seven months on the road. Many of the photos on this page are from this trip, mostly taken on a Pentax K-S2 DSLR with a 50mm f/1.8 lens.
