A reconstruction of a R-1820-E radial engine designed for 3D print. The workflow here required special attention, since it would not be easy to resolve the many surfaces of the engine into a single watertight solid. A remeshing tool was used to provide a smoothed version of the geometry which produced a clean fitting 3D print.
